L'affaire David Roberts

Part n in a series of me offending "prominent" people.

Whilst I do seem to frequently disagree with him, I wasn't expecting him to be a snowflake.

  1. Maybe you're aware if this, but there was a bit of a Twitter furore (mostly generated by RPJ) because David Roberts was given a blocklist by Katharine Hayhoe that led to RPJ then being blocked by David Roberts. It's possible that you're simply on the blocklist for some reason and that he didn't block you specifically.

    1. "Blocklist" is now a technical term in advanced accounting.

  2. Interesting. By bizarre coincidence KH blocks me too, as intimated. But DR is responsible for his own choices.

  3. If the blizzard of snowflakery has engulfed Katharine Keyhoe, we should volunteer to dig her out.

  4. That makes sense, David, as I have long suspected 'blocklist' to be the coinage of some blockhead at H.& R. Block

  5. Hope you have time to entertain a question from the peanut gallery. Is there any connection between polar sea ice and the southward dip in the polar vortex now bringing record breaking cold to the American Midwest?

  6. Would you like one of us to ask David to unblock you? It was probably unintentional (as ATTP suggested). It happens.

(No guarantees it will work but it might.)

That is probably a good question. Alas, there is so much news about "polar vortex" that I feel obliged to ignore it; like "the pause" it is a thing with more explanations than substance.

    I treasure my enemies :-)
