I'm just back from a trip down to the Chamonix valley to do some low level alpine type fun, but being now a retired gentleman of leisure, had time enough to spend half a week getting there and much the same back, visiting more cathedrals than I can remember along the way, as well as Meung.Anyway, the wildly exciting story is available here, should you be interested.
