He now has Isengard to fear as well as Minas Tirith.

It is from Lord of the Rings. Is it the 5th sentence of page 123? Here is mine (a dozen points if you can name the book, published in 2005):

"The coral atolls in Mangareva lagoon had no good raw stone at all, and even the volcanic islands offered only relativly coarse-grained basalt."
