Bad analogies are bad.
For example, as a consequence of your analogy between sceptics (or skeptics) on one side and septics on other side, many of your Google AdSense advertisements - if you reload many times - on this blog are dedicated to (real) septics. ;-)

Dear Belette,
I think there is an allegation of censorship at Motl's blog which inspired the comment here.
However, I was mainly praising his correct statement above that "Bad analogies are bad."
Is praise an insult?
I won't make any more comments.
