Thank you. I think you can rely on service continuing for a little longer. As to where all the commentators went... I suspect that some have aged out of this mortal coil but more generally the blogosphere is in general in decay.
You're probably right about the decay of the blogosphere, although I see lots of comments (from a small stable of commenters) on sites like RealClimate and Judith Curry. But neither of those sites has the quality of thought that I prefer. So keep at it!
