Pic: the Matterhorn, seen from the Hornli Hutte. It is awesome. No, I didn't climb it, though I did have a small try. A full travelogue will be produced in due course. Oh, and for those who still don't know where I went to, the answer is Roku.

Wow, that is some peak. Does "Matterhorn" have an English translation?

It is the peak (horn) of the Matter valley or Mattertal in German-Suisse.
It really is dead impressive. From Zermatt, it is the only peak you see, the others are hidden by the valley walls.
